Career Guidance Programme at St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur.
Career Guidance programme was organized for Science students at St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur on January 8, 2025.
The President, Rev. Fr. Ashok Rayan Crasta, Principal ,St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur presided over the programme. He noted that many students lack awareness about the opportunities available to them after completing their P.U. Level. The programme aimed to bridge this knowledge gap.He encouraged students to seize the best opportunities and wished them success in life.
The Resource person, Mr. Vivek Ranjan Bhandary, Marketing Manager at Nitte University, emphasized the importance of career guidance in today's world, where numerous options are available.He advised students to choose courses properly based on their interests and opportunities. He highlighted the pressure students face after their second PUC exams and encouraged them to explore their options beforehand.The session covered information related to various courses, including medicine, engineering, basic sciences, paramedical sciences, nursing and pharmacy. He wished the students a bright future, urging them to make wise choices.
The Convenors of Career Guidance Cell , Mr Ravi Prasad,Dept of Mathematics, Mr Rohit Kumar, Dept of Physics and Mr Harshith ,Dept of Biology co ordinated the programme.
