A Guest Lecture on Challenges of Adolescents and Coping Mechanisms at St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur.
Women Empowerment Cell in collaboration with Child Protection Cell organised a programme on Challenges of Adolescents and Coping Mechanisms on 27/06/2024 at St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur.
The President, Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, Principal, St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur in his presidential remarks said ," Adolescence is the phase of transition between childhood and adulthood".He added that counselling refers to the provision of assistance or guidance that eventually helps to solve personal, social or mental problems.
The Resource Person, Mrs Meena Kumari K , Counselling Psychologist & Life Skills Coach said, "Success is to be independent and happy". She advised students not to be depressed in life but, to cope up with the problems in a positive way. She motivated students to learn the art of learning.
The Convenors of Women Empowerment Cell - Mrs Geetha Kumari, Dept of Economics and Mrs Usha Rai ,Dept of Physics. The convenors of Child Protection Cell- Mrs Usha A, Dept of Kannada and Ms Shubhalaxmi , Dept of Physics co ordinated the programme.
