Guest Lecture on 'Sanskrit and Ayurveda' at St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur.

On September 3rd, 2024, the Sanskrit Sangha of St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur, organized a guest lecture program on 'Sanskrit and Ayurveda'. The resource person, Mr. Ganesh Krishna Sharma M.V., Associate Professor in the Department of Samhita Siddhanta and Sanskrit at Sharada Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital Mangalore, emphasized the significance of Sanskrit in cultivating culture and intellect. He highlighted its importance as the foundation for studying Ayurveda Shastra and its benefits in improving mental calmness. He also stressed the importance of studying language along with grammar to avoid mispronunciation, understanding the significance of colors and position, adopting a regular and moderate lifestyle for better health and exploring home remedies for illnesses.

Rev. Fr. Ashok Rayan Crasta, Principal of St. Philomena P.U. College, Puttur, in his presidential remarks, emphasized the importance of regular habits and moderation in daily life for improved health.

The program was coordinated by Mr. Suresh Kumar, convenor of the Sanskrit Sangha. Students of Sanskrit Sangha, Apoorva, welcomed the gathering.Akash P.G, introduced the guest, Anseena proposed the vote of thanks, and Trisha compered the programme.
