The Bharat Scouts & Guides is a voluntary, non-political, educational movement for young people, open to all without distinction of origin, race or creed, in accordance with the purpose, principles and methods conceived by the Founder Lord Baden Powell in 1907. The purpose of the movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of local, national and international communities.

Who Can Join


A boy/girl whether previously a Scout?Guide or not and who is a citizen of India and who has completed 15 years of age may be enlisted as a Rover/Ranger ASPIRANT, A person who has completed 25 years of age is not eligible to be a Rover/Ranger, but he can continue as a service Rover/Ranger up to the age of 35 years.

June 8, 2024: All the II PUC Rovers and Rangers of our college had the opportunity to showcase their public speaking skills.

They were taught how to speak confidently and effectively in front of the public.The session was mentored by the Rovers and Rangers staff incharge, Mr.Chandraksha.
