Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan at St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur
The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, a collaborative effort between Patrao Hospital, Puttur, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, and the Humanities Association of St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur, was successfully held on June 11, 2025, to raise awareness among students about the ill effects of drugs.
The President, Rev.Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta,Principal, St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur urged students to prioritize a healthy and successful future by saying "NO to drugs."
The Guest of Honour, Mr Ganesh Raj, a Civil Engineer shared his personal struggles with addiction and recovery. His testimony served as a powerful warning to the students, encouraging them to build a better future.
Mr. Johnson,RCA at Patrao Hospital shed light on the dangers of drug abuse, while Sr. Janet Cutinha Director Cantaous Innovative Project ( CIP) graced the occasion with her presence. The program was coordinated by Mr Sandesh John Lobo, Dept of English and Mrs Geetha Kumari, Dept of Economics ,the Convenors of the Humanities Association.
