The Boys’ Badminton team of St Philomena P.U. College emerged victorious at the Puttur Taluk-Level Badminton Tournament held at Ambika P.U. College,Puttur securing the Winners’ Trophy and qualifying for the District-Level Tournament to be held at Sacred Heart College, Madanthyar on 12th November, 2026.Under the expert guidance and dedicated training of the Physical Education Director ,Mr Rajesh Moolya, the team displayed exceptional skill, coordination and sporting spirit throughout the event. This remarkable achievement drew high praise from the Correspondent Rev. Fr John Baptist Saldanha (Mai De Deus Educational Institutions), Principal Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, PTA members and the staff congratulating the squad and wishing them continued success at the District Level. The proud winning team members are Alen P. John (II PCME ‘E’), Rujil P. Joseph (I SEBA ‘A’), Ruhan P. J (I ECBA), B. Eeshan Prabhu (I PCMB ‘B’), and Chinmay B. R (I PCMC ‘C’).
