Career Guidance Programme held at St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur.

The Career Guidance Cell of St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur, organized Career Guidance Programme for the II P.U. Science students on August 28, 2025.

The President, Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, Principal of the College, congratulated the Science Department for organizing such a meaningful initiative aimed at students’ future prospects. He urged the students to gain maximum benefit from the session, remarking that Mr Vivek Ranjan Bhandary was the ideal person to guide them on the multiple options and opportunities ahead.

Mr Vivek Ranjan Bhandary Marketing Manager at Nitte University was the resource person . He highlighted the importance of career guidance in today’s academic scenario. He stressed that proper guidance is essential for students to make the best use of the opportunities and choices available to them. He advised students to understand the scope of opportunities before selecting any course and provided insights into various courses and career avenues after P.U.C. He further emphasized that wise decisions taken today will help to shape a successful future.

Mr Yashavanth M.D., Dean of the Science Department, was present on the occasion. The programme was coordinated by the convenors of the Career Guidance Cell, Mr Raviprasad B.G. (Department of Mathematics) and Mr Niranjan G.U. (Department of Physics).

The event began with a prayer, followed by a welcome address by Shama, while Anjalica Melony Pinto compered the programme.
