Samruddhi Chowta climbed Shithidhar Peak, wins 'Best Rope Team' Award.

Samruddhi Chowta, an Army N.C.C. cadet from St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur, participated in the All India Special Basic Mountaineering Training conducted by ABVIMAS in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. She will now attend the Main Mountaineering training, one of the few from Karnataka to do so.

During training, cadets climbed the 15,700 ft Shithidhar Peak under DG NCC's guidance. Out of 48 cadets, Samruddhi earned the 'Best Rope Team' award.
