Students of St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur, qualified for the National Level Finswimming Championship.

Students of St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur, showcased their exceptional swimming skills at the 2nd Karnataka State Finswimming Championship-2024, organized by the Karnataka Underwater Sports and Finswimming Association on 3rd November 2024 at Dr Shivarama Karantha Balavana, Puttur.

The swimmers qualified for the National Level Finswimming Championship to be held at Delhi from 15th to 17th November 2024.

The swimmers were trained by Mr Partha Varanashi, Mr Niroop G.R., Mr Deekshith Rao and Mr Rohith Prakash, and guided by Dr Elias Pinto and Mr Rajesh Mooliya, Physical Education Directors.

The Correspondent, Very Rev. Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, and the Principal, Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, congratulated the following students:

• R.Aman Raj (I PCME 'E') — 2 Gold (BI-FINS 100M, APNEA 50M), 2 Silver (BI-FINS 50M, BI-FINS 200M)

• Anvith Rai Barike (I PCME 'E') — 2 Gold (MONO-FIN 50M, BI-FINS 50M), 2 Silver (MONO-FIN 100M, BI-FINS 100M)

• Diganth V.S. (I PCMC 'E') — 2 Gold (BI-FINS 200M, MONO-FIN 100M), 1 Silver (APNEA 50M)

• Pradhi Clare Pinto (I PCMB 'C') — 3 Silver (MONO-FIN 50M, BI-FINS 50M, BI-FINS 100M)
