P.U.C. Dakshina Kannada District Level Swimming Championship 2024-25.

St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur, in association with the P.U. Educational Board, Dakshina Kannada, hosted the District Level Swimming Championship at Dr. Shivrama Karanth Balavana Swimming Pool, Puttur, on August 2, 2024.

The inaugural program began with lighting of the lamp by dignitaries. The President, Very Rev. Fr. Lawrence Mascarenhas, Correspondent, Mai De Deus Educational Institutions, emphasized the importance of utilizing opportunities to shape one’s personality and advised swimmers to focus on their happiness rather than results.

The Guest of Honour, Dr. Shriprakash B., Vice President, PTA, extended his best wishes to participants, hoping their journey towards achievement begun at Balavana's swimming pool would reach international heights.

Mrs Prathima Hegde, President, Alumni Association and Mr Gerald D'costa, Vice-President, Puttur Parish were present. Physical Education Directors Mr Elias Pinto and Mr Rajesh Mooliya conducted the competition.

Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, Principal, St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur welcomed the gathering. Dr Asha Savithri P., Dept of Hindi compered and proposed vote of thanks.
