A one‑day retreat for Catholic students of St Philomena P.U. College, Puttur, was held at Divya Chethana Chapel on August 9, 2024, conducted by Rev. Fr Anil Avild Lobo, Parish Priest of Nainad.

Very Rev. Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, Correspondent, emphasized lasting happiness through spiritual means.

The first session began with a prayer song followed by a message on gratitude and doing God’s will. Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta preached on God’s words, and Fr Anil spoke on love, its types, and importance.

Holy Adoration, praise, worship, and hymns marked the retreat. Organized by the Divya Chethana Association, the event strengthened students’ bonds with the Lord.
