St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur bags 9 Gold medals , 3 Silver medals and 1 Bronze medal in the National Level Swimming Competition.

Students of St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur bagged 9 Gold medals, 3 Silver medals and 1 bronze medal in the 18th National Pool Life Saving Championship held on 9th to  11th of June 2023 in Bengaluru.  The Life Savers were trained by Coach Mr Partha Varanashi, Mr Rohith P., Mr Niroop G.R. ,Mr  Deekshith Rao, Mr Elias Pinto and Mr Rajesh Mooliya, Physical Directors of St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur.

The Correspondent ,Very Rev.Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, the Campus Director of St Philomena Institutions, Rev Fr Stany Pinto, the Principal, Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta and the Staff members congratulated  the following students.

1. Jyotsna Lysa Johnson ( II PCMB ‘C’) bagged Gold medals in 4×50 m Medley Relay, 4×25 m Manikin Carry Relay ,4×50 m Obstacle Relay and 4×50 m Pool Life Saver Mixed Relay .Silver medal in 100 m Manikin Tow with Fins.
2. Nandan Naik ( I PCMB ‘B’) bagged Gold Medal in 12.5 m Line throw. Silver medals in 4×50 m Medley Relay and 4×25 m Manikin Carry Relay . Bronze medal in 4×50 m Obstacle Relay.
3. Neethi Rai ( II PCMC ‘D’) bagged Gold medals in 4×50 m Medley Relay ,4x25m Manikin Carry Relay, 4×50 m Pool Life Saver Mixed Relay and 4x50m Obstacle Relay.
4. Adwith Rai B ( II PCMB ‘A’ ) bagged Silver medals in 4×50 Medley Relay and 4×25 m Manikin Carry. Bronze Medal in 4x50m Obstacle Relay.
