Philo Utsav – Achievers Day in grandeur

St Philomena P. U. College,Puttur celebrated Philo Utsav – Achievers Day in grandeur.

 

 

Achievers day was celebrated at St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur on Friday,December 22nd.

The President, Rev Fr. Ashok Rayan Crasta, Principal, St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur said that the students should participate in all the activities for the overall development.He motivated students to participate in both curricular and co curricular activities to shape their personality.

The Chief Guest, Rev Fr Vijay Lobo , Principal, Anugraha P.U. College , Ujire said “Students should take risk and never give up.Taking risk is a part of life because risk brings dignity and rewards”. He advised students to take up life as a challenge. He motivated students to take up eagle as an example which flies high, remains focused and has an accurate vision.

The Guest of Honour, Rev. Fr Stany Pinto, Campus Director, St Philomena Institutions addressed the students and encouraged them to make the best use of the opportunities .He motivated students to study well and achieve their goals.

Mr Jayanth Nadubailu.,President Parent Teacher Association said ,“Education is not a standstill process. It has to change as time progresses.He motivated students to work hard and be a source of inspiration to others.

Mr A Jagajeevan Das Rai ,President, Alumni Association said, “St Philomena P.U.College is an Institution which plays a dominant role in building the future of the students”. He encouraged students to imbibe good qualities and shape their future.

Students who made tremendous achievements in various fields were honored by the dignitaries .

The programme was organized by the co ordinators of the Student Council, Mr Prashanth Bhat, Dept of Chemistry and Mrs Philomena Monteiro, Dept of Commerce.

Pruthvi ( II SEBA ‘B’) Joint Secretary of Student Council welcomed the gathering. Pravan Ponnappa, President, Student Council introduced the Chief Guest. Thanvi K. , Secretary, Student Council proposed vote of thanks .Mrs Suma D ,Dept of English compered the programme.
