Inauguration of Commerce Association and the Celebration of 75th National C.A. day anniversary at St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur.

Inauguration of Commerce Association and the Celebration of 75th National C.A. day anniversary was organized at St Philomena P.U.College,Puttur on 01/07/2023 at Silver Jubilee Memorial Hall.

The President, Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, Principal, St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur in his presidential remarks said that the Chartered accountants play a critical role in driving economic growth , development, and their contributions are widely recognized and valued . He added that in Commerce stream students learn day to day activities. He motivated the students to make the best use of the opportunities available.

The Chief Guest and Resource Person, CA M Jagannath Kamath, Managing Partner, M Jagannath Kamath and Co. Mangalore advised students to set a goal in life . He said , “Chartered accountancy is often referred to as the king of careers due to the benefits that it offers “. He added that the career path to become a Chartered Accountant involves a lot of dedication and ability to take on the intensive programs and examinations. Muhammad Fairoz, Financial Analyst, Amazon said, “Failure is the stepping stone of success”. He motivated students to work hard and to understand the subject matter thoroughly. He added , “Success is a journey not a destination”.

The convenors, Mr Vijay Maxim D’Souza, Mr Bharath G Pai and Mrs Poornima D S. co ordinated the programme .
