Inaugural programmme of the academic year and felicitation to distinction holders was held in St Philomena PU College at SJM hall on 07/05/2018

The programme was inaugurated by the dignitaries by lighting the lamp.

Rev. Fr. Vijay Lobo, Principal of the college welcomed the students and appreciated the achievers. He congratulated the achievers and  said that a good beginning makes a difference. He asked the students to be focused and make their life a meaningful one.

Rev. Dr. Antony Prakash Monteiro, Campus Director and Chairperson of P.G. Centre congratulated the achievers. In his speech he said that the main purpose of education is to turn the mirrors into windows.

Very Rev. Fr. Alfred J Pinto , Correspondent of the college in his presidential remarks said that the students should have trust in God, Parents and lecturers. He advised students to imbibe good values and spirit.

 101 distintion holders were felicitated on the occasion.

Ms Suma PR, Dept of English welcomed the gathering. Mr Bharath G. Pai, Dept of Statistics proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Prashanth Bhat, Dept of Chemistry compeered the programme.
