75th Independence day celebrated at St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur

India’s 75th Independence Day was celebrated at St Philomena P.U.College, Puttur with gaiety and patriotic fervour.
 
The Principal,  Rev .Dr Antony Prakash Montheiro, St Philomena College hoisted the National flag and said ,”  Let us all build our nation by our hardwork ,by our sincerity and by our dedication”.
 
The NCC Cadets, Rovers-Rangers, NSS volunteers ,Red Cross Unit and the band troop participated in the march-past. Primary, High school, P.U.C ,Degree and P.G. students participated in the rally till khile maidana . Students of Fine Arts  and Performing Arts Associations presented cultural programme.
 
NCC Officer ,Lt Johnson David Sequeira, SUO Kiran, NSS Officers, convenors of Rovers-Rangers unit ,Mr Sharath Alva, Mr Dhanya P.T.,  Mr Sandesh John Lobo and Mrs Poornima.  Convenors of Fine Arts Association, Mrs Ashwini K  and Performing Arts Association  Co ordinated the programme. 
 
 Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta, Principal, St Philomena P.U.College,  Rev. Fr Stany Pinto, Campus Director, Mr Udaya K,  Vice Principal, St Philomena College  were present on the occasion.
