Sizan Hasan ,Ist year ECBA student of St Philomena P.U.College , Puttur has done something extraordinary to save the lives of the passengers in an Express  bus, numbered KA21-F0057 . The incident took place at around 4.25 pm on 13/09/2022. The bus which was on its way to Uppinangady, started to move backward all of a sudden in the absence of the driver and the  conductor. When the passengers were in panic ,Sizan Hasan sprung into action without even thinking about his life . He jumped on to the driver’s seat , applied the brake, saved the  passengers from the danger and was applauded for his bravery. He said ,” The incident took place due to the negligence of the driver”. He is the proud son of Mr Abdul Salam and Mrs Thahira.

 

The Correspondent, Very Rev.Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, the Campus Director, Rev Fr. Stany Pinto, the Principal,  Rev Fr. Ashok Rayan Crasta and the Staff appreciated the boy’s bravery .
