Ms Hastha Aithal of St Philomena PU College, Puttur has secured third place in state in II PUC annual examinations. She secured 590 out of 600 in PCMB combination of Science stream. Hastha, daughter of Dr Ravindranath Aithal stands first in Puttur Taluk.

Ms Varsha Kamath and Ms Niya Anna James have secured second place in the college with 582 marks. In Commerce stream Ms Shwetha has secured 568 marks and in Arts stream Akhil Jose has secured 511 marks and have stood first in their respective study streams.

Over the years the admissions and results of the college have seen exponential increase. The management of St Philomena PU College congratulates the achievers and lauds the hard work of the staff in forming the student community integrally.
